Born 38 years ago to the parentage of the late Mrs. Betty Jean Williams and Johnny Robinson, he became a Christian and began his work in Christ’s Kingdom at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Florence, South Carolina.

In 1993 Mr. Williams graduated from West Florence High School in S.C. In November 1993, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a radio operator rising to the rank of Master Sergeant. While stationed in Okinawa, Japan in 1998, he met his wife, Shawn Tamille Hagans, formerly of Monticello. They were married February 27, 2000. To this union two sons were born, Jalen Ja’von and Devin Jaden.

Mr. Williams was an avid Washington Redskins football fan and a computer whiz. He had an infectious smile and laugh and loved his family.

In addition to his father, wife, and sons, survivors include three brothers, Varick Williams, Kevin Robinson, and Johnny Robinson II; two sisters Quavia Smith and Krystal Johnson; and a number of other relatives and friends.
