Logan Partenza Earns First at Track Meet

Logan Partenza earned first place in the 400-meter dash last week during a meet hosted by Gatewood School in Eatonton.

In addition, Partenza was fourth in the long jump and helped the team’s two relay teams finish third.

Partenza joined Hank Strickland, Gaven Edge and Barrett Whitaker for third-place showings in the 4×100-meter relay and the 4×400-meter relay.

For the Lady Cougars, Heather Tyler continued her standout spring with a third-place finish in the 1,600-meter run.

The Piedmont Academy track teams were set to compete at the region meet Wednesday, April 24, at Arlington.

The state track meet will be May 2-4 at High Mills Stadium in Albany.
