Piedmont Tennis Headed for Region Tournament

Piedmont Academy’s tennis players were scheduled to compete in the Region 4-AA tournament Wednesday in LaGrange.

Coach Sarah Wagnon saw her team defeat Central Fellowship last Friday after struggling against Brandon Hall and LaGrange earlier in the week.

Brittany Germany and Katie Brennan were set to play No. 1 doubles at region for the girls with Britton Bailey and Drew Collins playing No. 1 doubles for the boys.

Clare Maloney and Dallas Fletcher will handle the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots for the Lady Cougars while Savannah McGinnis and Brittnee Phillips will compete at No. 2 girls doubles.
