MAN INJURED

A man was injured last Friday morning when there was an accident on Persons Street at Forsyth Street in Monticello.

A 1994 Toyota Camry driven by Cierro McGuire was at the stop sign on Persons Street, facing Forsyth St. A 2004 Ford Explorer, driven by Elia Ere-Cruz, was turning right on Persons Street when her Explorer impacted the driver’s side of the Camry.

A male passenger of Camry got out to check on Explorer driver; while he was talking to driver, the vehicle moved and he became pinned between the cars, according to the Monticello Police Department.
