Mary Martha Brock Holcombe

Mary Martha Brock Holcombe, 88, formerly of Mansfield, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Greenville, Tenn.

Mrs. Holcombe was born in Newton County to the late Howard George Brock and Dora Lena Chambers Brock. She lived in DeKalb County for a number of years. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Stone Mountain. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lewis Holcombe, and sister, Dorothy Crisson.

Mrs. Holcombe is survived by her daughter, Diane Ford of Greenville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Dana Gilleland of Snellville and David “Tiny” Greene of Daytona Beach, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Kevin Gilleland, Emily Gilleland, Aaron Gilleland, and Cassie Greene; and niece, Brenda Huntsberry of Tampa, Fla.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 11, 2013, at 11 a.m. at West View Cemetery in Monticello. Rev. David Gilleland will officiate.
