Johnathan Coke Bell
Johnathan Coke Bell, 20, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at the Meadows Medical Center in Vidalia, after an accident.
Mr. Bell was born in Macon, and was a lifelong resident of Monticello. He played football and baseball for the Monticello Hurricanes and graduated from Jasper County High School in 2012. He loved to hunt and fish. More than anything, he loved his family, especially his mama. He was living the dream that he had worked so hard to achive, attending Brewton Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Ga, and playing on the Barons baseball team. He was attending Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia, and playing on the Barons baseball team.
His grandmother, Shirley Tarleton, and grandfather, Roy Womack preceded him in death.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jeremy and Tammy Bell of Forsyth; mother and step-father, Stephanie and Tim Womack of Monticello; girlfriend and “love of his life”, Sydney Millek of Richmond Hill; sisters and brothers, Patricia Womack Reid of Monroe, Candice Womack Shirley, Ashli Bell Anglin, and Robert Womack of Monticello, Michael Cody Williams and Megan Bell of Forsyth, Brittany Bell Parson of Commerce, and Megan Womack of McDonough; grandparents, Roy Tarleton and Pat and John Whitman of Monticello, and Joyce Royal of Eatonton; nephews and nieces, Austin Anglin, Camden Parson, Ayman Shirley, and Sydney Shirley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 4, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Monticello Baptist Church, with interment in West View Cemetery. Rev. Charles Roper and Taylor Fields will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Nelson, Nicholas Tarleton, Walt Anglin, Dwayne Reid, Taylor Fields, Justin Parson, Mark Fields, David Millek, Tommy Womack, and Jonathan Williams. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Brewton-Parker College baseball team.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
