Stalker Is Sentenced to Jail Time
Ryan Middlebrooks pled guilty to two counts of stalking in Superior Court Tuesday with Judge Hugh V. Wingfield, III, presiding.
Mr. Middlebrooks was sentenced to 12 months on each count, to run consecutive, and to serve the first 120 days in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. He was also ordered to have no contact of any kind, in person, or by telephone, mail, or otherwise, with the two victims.

•Shaun Ivey McCurry, who was on probation for conviction on the charge of theft by taking in February, 2011, and serving a sentence of three years probation, was found to have violated the conditions of his probation by the new offenses of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a schedule III and a schedule IV controlled substances. Mr. McCurry’s probation was revoked in full and the remainder to be served in prison.
•Robert Stowe pled guilty to criminal trespass and was sentenced to 12 months probation and fined $300.
•Alex Kelvin Carter was granted a $25,000 cash, property or commercial bond pending trial on the charge of rape.
•Tommy Lee Strange was granted a $10,000 cash, property or commercial bond pending trial on the charges of burglary, criminal attempt to commit theft by taking and criminal trespass.
