Arrests Are Reported
During the period of December 18-26 the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) reported the following arrests:
• Crystal Gail Hall Williamson, 36, Mansfield—battery/family violence, cruelty to children in the third degree and aggravated assault.
• James Bradley McCaleb, 28, Monticello—probation violation.
• Stephanie Diane Herring, 38, Monticello—possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
• Michael Allison Clark, 62, Eatonton—burglary.
• Christian Jade Brown, 18, Monticello—driving while license is suspended or revoked.
• William Larry Bolt, 49, Warrenton—possession of marijuana less than 1 oz. and obstruction of an officer.

Also, during the period of December 18-24 deputies with the JCSO reported responding to 96 calls for service including 22 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 14 alarm, seven mechanical break down, six accident, five subject needs officer, four each burglary, pick up prisoner/subject and road hazard, three each speeding auto and discharge fire arms.
Also, two each assist motorist, welfare check, four wheeler, vandalism of property and persons refuse to leave, one each domestic, courtesy ride, intoxicated driver, escort or convoy, juvenile complaint, trouble unknown, threatening/harassing calls, argument, abandoned vehicle, vgcsa, stalking and identity fraud/theft.
During this same period the Monticello Police Department (MPD) reported the following two arrests:
• Connie Marie Smith, 39, Monticello—criminal receipt of goods and services fraudulently obtained, financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud.
• Paul Ross Beebe, 66, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs less safe and open container.
In addition, during this period officers with the MPD reported responding to 36 calls for service including eight stopping suspicious person/vehicle, five escort or convoy, three speeding auto, two subject needs officer, one each alarm, assist motorist, accident, mechanical break down, theft by taking, mental person, utility department needed, child abuse/molestation, crowd disbursement, child custody case, private property, checking location, argument, abandoned vehicle, identity fraud/theft and seizure.
