MINOR INJURY

This 2008 Honda Civic crashed into a tree after swerving to miss a possible head-on collision. Loran Roberts of Mansfield was driving the Honda westbound on County Line Road, approaching Rocky Creek Road.
At the same time, Krystal Harrison, also of Mansfield, was traveling eastbound on County Line Road, approaching Rocky Creek Road in a 2004 Lexus, according to the report from the Georgia State Patrol.
Ms. Harrison said the sun was shining on her rear-view mirror, blinding her, and she looked away from the road for a moment to adjust it. As she did, her vehicle apparently crossed the center line. Ms. Roberts saw the oncoming car in her lane, and swerved to avoid an impact. She exited the road onto the northern shoulder, and after traveling a short distance, hit a tree where her car came to an uncontrolled rest.
Meanwhile Ms. Roberts stopped her Lexus near where the two cars met, the report said. Ms. Harrison was charged with failure to maintain lane. One minor injury was reported.
