DUI Plea Gets Man 30 Days
Jeffery S. Crosby pled guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Monday in Jasper Superior Court, with Judge James L. Cline, Jr., presiding.
Mr. Crosby was sentenced to 12 months probation with 30 days to be served in jail, fines and fees of $2,994 and ordered to complete the Drug and Risk Management Program.
Ten other individuals pled guilty to varying charges with details listed below:
•Hannah Matthews to manufacture of marijuana and possession of marijuana less than one ounce—sentenced to serve four weekends in the Jasper County Jail and 12 months to be served on probation, which shall be terminated upon payments of fines and fees of $2,712 and recommendation of probation officer.
•Junior Munson to possession of cocaine—sentenced to three years to be served on probation, which shall be terminated upon payment of fines and fees of $1,362 and recommendation of probation officer.

•Jeffery Hardy to theft by taking, theft by receiving stolen property and criminal trespass—sentenced to 12 months on probation, which shall be terminated upon payment of fines and fees of $239 and recommendation of probation officer.
•Rachel Martin to false statements and writings—sentenced to four years to be served on probation and fines and fees of $1,387.
•Danny Carter to making a false statement—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation, which shall be terminated upon payment of upon payment of fines and fees of $599 and recommendation of probation officer.
•Jordan Lange to criminal trespass and possession of marijuana—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation, which shall be terminated upon payment of fines and fees of $799 and recommendation of probation officer.
•Mikhail Allison to family violence/battery and criminal trespass—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation, fines and fees of $544 and restitution of $400.
•Adam Lee Phillips to fleeing or attempting to elude police officer and reckless driving—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation, 10 days in the Jasper County Jail, which shall be terminated upon payment of fines and fees of $724 and recommendation of probation officer.
•Jermangelo Thomas to reckless conduct—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation, which shall be terminated upon payment of fines and fees of $724, restitution of $670 and attending Family Violence class. •Timothy Rogers to affray (fighting)—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation, which shall be terminated upon payment of fines and fees of $724.
A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Johnny W. McCullough for failing to appear to answer the charges of DUI alcohol less safe, driving while license suspended or revoked, failure to maintain lane and tag light violation.
A bench warrant was also issued for the arrest of Richard Louis Rodriguez who failed to appear to answer the charges of aggravated assault, battery (two counts) and cruelty to children (two counts).
A total of 54 other cases on the calendar were continued.

Also, on Friday, November 16, the Magistrate Trial calendar court convened with Judge Daniel Jackson, presiding, in which a guilty verdict was returned and a guilty plea was rendered as follows:
•Matthew Frank Lawson was found guilty of purchase or possession of alcohol by a minor and was sentenced to 12 months probation, a fine of $280 and ordered to serve 40 hours of community service.
•Daniel Keith Whitlow pled guilty to the same charge and was also sentenced to 12 months probation, a fine of $280 and to serve 40 hours of community service.
