Faye Stone McMichael Smith

Faye Stone McMichael Smith, 63, of Gray, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon.

Mrs. Smith was born in Eatonton to the late James Harvey Stone and Corrie Goodman Stone. She lived in Monticello most of her life until moving to Gray four years ago. She was a 1967 graduate of Monticello High School. She graduated from North Georgia Technical Institute in Cosmetology. Before retirement, she worked for Jordan Funeral Home. She was a member of Smithboro Baptist Church.

A sister, Tommie Kaye Stone, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Smith of Gray; children and daughter-in-law, Thomas Pierce and Heather McMichael of Maysville, and Corrie Kaye “Kaycie” Bessey of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Jacob McMichael, Carlee McMichael, Sarah McMichael, Molly McMichael, Patrick McMichael, Jamie Jackson, Michael Turner, Katelin Lynch, Teddy Reckamp, Kaylee Bessey, and Joshua Bessey; and brother, Jim Stone of Monticello.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Interment will be held in West View Cemetery. Revs. Charles Roper and Mike Jorgenson will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
