‘Canes Face Rival Putnam Friday At Home

The ’Canes fell to Bleckley County last Friday dropping their region record to 1-5 and overall to 2-7.

The ‘Canes were just plain outclassed, and came away with the very short end of the stick. But, they continue to learn and improve.

Tomorrow night, Friday, Nov. 9, they will host the Putnam County War Eagles in the last game of the season which is also Senior Night for the ’Canes.

The War Eagles have the exact same record as the ’Canes in the region and overall, so it will be a battle between the two traditional rivals for bragging rights in the season finale.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Rose Bowl Field.

Senior athletes — football players, trainers, cheerleaders—spirit and competition—band members, and cross country runners will be honored in a ceremony before kickoff.
