Mack Brady Is Perfect; 75 Make Honor Roll

MACK BRADY AND TONY TANNER

Mack Brady, an eighth grader at Piedmont Academy had a perfect score on this week’s contest as did five others, Tink Dover, Clint Fields, and Tammy, Kaitlyn and Kenny Harvey.

He picked up a $25 prize from Tony Tanner, headmaster of Piedmont Academy, last week’s sponsor.

Mr. Brady was only one off of the tie-breaker with a guess of 42 (a very popular tie breaker) and the total between Piedmont and Dominion Christian was 43, (29-14).

Mr. Brady should know his football, as he is the quarterback for the Middle School Cougars.

In addition to those that scored 15, there were 69 other players who had their names added to the honor roll for a chance to win tickets to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on New Year’s Eve.

The most common games missed were Florida’s huge victory over South Carolina, and Carolina’s loss to Dallas.

This is a new week, however and contest players have a chance to pick up a $25 prize from Dairy Queen.

So sharpen your pencils and be sure to submit your entries to The Monticello News no later than 5 p.m. tomorrow, Friday afternoon at 237 W. Washington Street, or fax to 706-468-6576.
