Helen Virginia Jester Galloway

Helen Virginia Jester Galloway, 84, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, in Peachtree City.

Mrs. Galloway was born in Cline, S.C. to the late Earl Vestel Jester and Helen Virginia Hatch Jester. Before retirement she was a Pre-K teacher for the CDC Norman Drive Baptist Church. Her husband, Walter Thomas Galloway, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Lee and Kim Galloway of Corpus Christi, Texas, Theresa Fuqua of Peachtree City, Nancy Galloway of Greenville, S.C.; and Tom and Susan Galloway of Chesapeake, Va.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Hebron Cemetery in Jasper County. Dr. David Chancey will officiate.

The family suggests donations in lieu of flowers to any children’s organization.
