Guilty Plea to Burglary Nets 10 Years
Andrew Schulte pled guilty to the charges of burglary and interference with government property in Jasper County Superior Court Tuesday with Judge Willam A. Prior, Jr., presiding.
Mr. Schulte was sentenced to a total of 10 years with three years to serve and the remainder to be served on probation provided he complies with conditions imposed by the court. Mr. Schulte was also charged with fines and fees totaling $3,349.
Fifteen other individuals pled guilty to charges as listed below and were sentenced as indicated:
•Terrell E. Stinson to possession of cocaine and driving while license suspended—sentenced to five years to be served on probation with 48 hours to serve in jail and fines and fees of $1,882.
•Jeff White to theft by taking, criminal trespass, failure to maintain lane and driving too fast for conditions—sentenced to two years to be served on probation and fines and fees of $724.
•Jorda J. Clements to criminal damage to property and theft by taking—sentenced to five years to be served on probation and fines and fees of $1,387.

•Telly F. Banks to forgery in the first degree—sentenced to five years to be served on probation and fines and fees of $1,387.
•Patricia R. Hinds to battery and disorderly conduct—sentenced to 12 months probation with 10 days to be served in the Jasper County Jail, to have no contact with victim, to attend anger management counseling and fines and fees of $599.
•Dan B. Miller, III, to financial identity fraud—sentenced to five years to be served on probation, fines and fees of $1,332 and restitution to victim of $188.36.
•Joshua D. Davis to theft by deception and theft by receiving stolen property—sentenced to five years to be served on probation, to complete Values Class, fines and fees of $1,387 and restitution of $872.
•David Pickett to theft by receiving stolen property and affray—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and fines and fees of $1,498.
•Ricky N. Atkinson to obstruction of an officer and public drunkenness—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and $729.
•Morris C. Savage to harassing phone calls—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation, to have no contact with victim and fines and fees of $549.
•Amber S. Brown to obstruction of an officer—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and fines and fees of $639.
•Draylon Jackson to driving while license suspended and giving false name—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and fines and fees of $909.
•James N. Bailey to criminal trespass—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation, ordered to stay away from victim, to complete Values Class and fines and fees of $634.
•Joseph Candler Hyde to criminal damage to property in the second degree—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and fines and fees of $584.
Leon Culver Kelly, charged with theft by taking, and Ashley Nicole Falbe, charged with possession of cocaine and manufacturing marijuana, failed to appear and bench warrants were issued for their arrest.
Fifty-seven other individuals pled not guilty to varying charges and will be scheduled for trial unless a plea bargain is struck prior to a trial date. Three other cases were continued and four were nolle prossed (not being prosecuted at this time).
Judge Prior also presided over the Motion Day Calendar Tuesday, with results as follows:
•Kenneth Stone, Jr., was found to have violated his probation by committing the new offenses of theft by taking and interference with government property. Mr. Stone was sentenced to serve 150-180 days in a State Detention Center and upon completion to return to probation as originally ordered. He was also ordered to pay restitution and fines and fees of $762.
•Ramon A. Jackson pled guilty to affray and his probation was modified to be 12 months; reduced to six months upon payment of fines and fees of $194 and recommendation by parole officer.
•Mary Ann Cleveland pled guilty to theft by shoplifting and possession of hydrocodone and her probation was modified to five years to be served on probation, fines and fees of $ $1,887, and restitution. Ms. Cleveland had her probation modified.
•Hadley Luke Jackson had his probation modified, however no details were available.
