FLAG RAISED

American Legion Post 110 members raised an American Flag at the Market on the Square Saturday. Pictured here are (front, raising flag, left to right) Bob Brill and James Beverly and (guards, back row) Ed Young, Jeff Howe, Dan Cleveland, Billy Johnson, Sydney Jackson and Bill Zaluska. The members were also planning to raise the flag at the July 4th Concert yesterday at 319 Colleg Street, and they put flags on veterans’ grave sites for the Independence Day holiday. Fred Paul is commander of the post located at the intersection of Hwys. 212 and 16 easat in Monticello.
