Marijuana Found in Man’s Pants
Dantreze Onveckio Nelson of Monticello was arrested last Thursday, June 21, by the Monticello Police Department (MPD) and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
According to an official report an officer of the MPD was dispatched to Frobel Street to investigate a report of a man trying to sell marijuana. After patrolling the area the officer made contact with a man matching the reported description on Blue Ruin Street.
The officer reported the odor of marijuana as he approached Mr. Nelson, who, however, denied possession of the drug. Sometime during the interrogation the officer discovered a large bulge in the back of Mr. Nelson’s pants.
