Persons Are Arrested

During the period of June 5-12 the JCSO reported the following arrests:

• Johnny Michael Herrington, 39, Monticello—possession of meth, simple battery, possession/use of drug related objects/equipment, concealed weapons, and possession of a firearm or knife while trying to commit a crime.

• Dana Michelle Pickett, 39, Monticello—possession of meth and possession of drug related objects.

• Jennifer Renee Vic, 30, Monticello—possession of meth.

• Sarah Marie Coffee, 27, Newborn—burglary.

• Andrew Michael Schulte, 25, Newborn—burglary.

• Danny Butch Carter, 28, Newborn—false statements and writings.

• Timothy Dewayne Rogers, 32, Monticello—aggravated assault.

• David Spencer Pickett, 18, Monticello—fighting in a public place and disorderly conduct.

• Robert Eugene Carpenter, 19, Monticello—aggravated battery and fighting in a public place.

• David Tinsley, Jr., 33, Monticello—hold for warrant in DeKalb County.

• Robert Pierce Standifer, 44, Griffin—probation violation.

• Billy Darren Stargel, 46, Monroe—probation violation.

• Curtis Lee Ross, 59, Monticello—probation violation.

During this same period deputies with the JCSO responded to numerous calls including 28 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 15 alarm, 14 road hazard, 11 subject needs officer, nine accident, eight pick up prisoner/subject, and five each domestic, mechanical break down and livestock on road.

Also, three each burglary, assist motorist, escort or convoy, trouble unknown, checking location and attempt to serve warrant, two each fight, courtesy ride, intoxicated driver, theft by taking, miscellaneous ems, deliver emergency message, threatening/harassing calls and trespassing.

Also, one each dog disturbance, mental person, heart attack, four wheeler, juvenile complaint, discharge firearms, possible suicide, private property, music/noise complaint, argument, abandoned vehicle and illegal dumping/littering.

Also during the period mentioned above the Monticello Police Department (MPD) reported the following arrests:

• Pamela Ann Rooks, 33, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving while license suspended or revoked, failure to maintain lane, open container, duty upon striking unattended vehicle and duty of driver to stop at or return to scene of an accident.

• Audrey Denise Norwood, 44, Monticello—theft by shoplifting.

• Sarah Lee Miller, 24, Monticello—probation violation.

During this period officers with the MPD responded to 58 calls for service including 16 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, five mechanical break down, four escort or convoy, three each alarm, accident, subject needs officer, trouble unknown and music/noise complaint.

Also, two each burglary, and vandalism of property, one each fight, dog disturbance, assist motorist, fire/structure, chest pain, unconscious, counterfeit, discharge fire arms,

threatening/harassing calls, sick and identity fraud/theft.

In addition, during the periods mentioned above the Department of Natural Resources reported the following arrests:

• Christopher James Wells, 19, Stockbridge—furnishing to, purchase or possession of alcohol under 21 years of age and possession of marijuana less than one ounce.

• Matthew Shawn Cox, 20, Flovilla—furnishing to, purchase or possession of alcohol under 21 years of age.

• Brandy Alicia Hicks, 18, Covington—furnishing to, purchase or possession of alcohol under 21 years of age.

• Angelica Favela Mendoza, 19, Rex—possession of marijuana less than one ounce.

• Meaghan Aline Wingo, 18, Ellenwood—possession of marijuana less than one ounce.
