JCHS Spring Sports Banquet Is Held

Jasper County High School held its Spring Sports Awards banquet recently where the student athletes were recognized.
Those receiving individual (top photo) and senior awards are listed here as they were presented with a plaque and or certificate in recognition.
The golf award went to Taylor Garrett for her season low average; the tennis award for most improved singles went to Gracie Cummings; and most improved doubles award went to Brandi McMichael and Samantha Johnson; the Miss Hurricane award went to Kaitlan Needham.
Those that received awards for track include Josh Stone and Felicia Gordon for most improved and the coaches award went to Juvenal Bermudez and Janae Chapman.

Those receiving awards for soccer include Daniel Benton, Wyatt Rabon and Brianna Boyer, most improved; most versatile player was awarded to Eulady Diaz; Kelsey Clemons was awarded for most outstanding offense, Miss Hurricane was awarded to Olivia Aldridge, and Quentin Villwock was most team spirited.
Baseball award winners included the Johnathan Bell, with the Hurricane award, the academic award was given to Brady McMichael; Quinton Standifer was awarded most improved, and the True Grit award went to Patrick Clement.
Senior athletes were recognized (bottom photo) and include Victor Bautista, Johnathan Bell, Juvenal Bermudez, Steven Bradley, Amanda Cameron, Kevin Camp, Xavier Chapman, Tyler Couch, Heather DeBoer, Taylor Fields, Brady McMichael, Deonte Norwood, Sharika Pennamon, Timmy Postlethwait, Marquell Strozier, and A.J. Thomas.
