‘Cane Basketball Camp To Be Held

Monticello High School will host a Boys and Girls Basketball Camp June 18-20 from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Jasper County High School Gym.

The camp will be for those students in third through eighth grades interested in basketball.

The third through fifth graders will meet from 9-11 a.m. and sixth through eighth graders will meet from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Jasper County High School Gym.

The camp will include drills, skills, competitions, and basic defense. Youth can learn the fundamentals. Interested students are invited to join the Canes and learn the basics of the game of basketball.

The cost of this camp is $60 and includes a ball, t-shirt and certificate of participation. The deadline to register is Monday, June 11. Space is limited, so sign-up soon. Applications may be picked in the school’s main office.

Completed forms should be turned into to the school’s main office along with the $60 registration fee. All checks should be made out to JCHS.
