Cheerleaders Are Named to All-Region

Senior Ami Labriola and Junior Mackenzie Mote-Paterson, from Jasper County High School, were recently selected to the 4AA All-Region Cheerleader Squad.

According to Sallie Peters, cheer coach, “Miss Mote-Patterson is a wonderful young lady. She loves cheerleading and is by far one of the most competitive people I know.

“She always gives 100% and is truly an asset to the Varsity Competition Cheerleading Squad. I am looking forward to another great year with Mackenzie, and her amazing leadership abilities.”

Ms. Peters went on to say, “Ami Labriola is the most positive person I know. She is the biggest Hurricane fan, and is always a team player.

“If I ever need anything, Ami is always there with her smile willing to help out. She has been apart of the competition for the past four years, and she will be greatly missed. Ami is an excellent role model and represents our squad very well.”
