Piedmont Golfers Lose

The Piedmont Academy golf team had some strong individual performances but still fell to Monsignor Donovan last week.

Coach Wes Tanner said the Cougars had their low round for the spring of 165 during the match on March 21. Individually, Drew Collins was low medalist with a score of 36 followed by Branson Parish at 41.

Piedmont was scheduled to face Monsignor Donovan in a rematch Wednesday in Monticello and will then be off until after spring break.

The Cougars will host Nathanael Greene April 9 at Hunter Pope Country Club.
