Donald Joe Brown

Donald Joe Brown, 62, of Hillsboro, died on March 25, 2012.

He was born in Sandersville on February 7, 1950 to the late Doris Renfroe Brown Sheppard and the late Cecil Horace Brown.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Sheppard.

Surviving are his wife, Jane Brown of Hillsboro; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Jennifer Brown of Monticello, Carl and Jessica Brown of Covington; sister, Linda Sloan of Milledgeville, step-sister and step brother-in-law, Marianne and Edwin Thompson of Milledgeville; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Sharon Brown of Sandersville; step brother and step sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sheppard, Jr. of Tucker; grandchildren, Hope, Cassidy, Caelan, and Emily Brown.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 27 at the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Interment followed at Resthaven Cemetery.
