Walker James Ross

Walker James Ross, 52, of Shady Dale died March 15, 2012.

Mr. Ross was born November 26, 1959 to Naomi Ross and the late Homer Ross, III of Shady Dale.

He served in the United States Army, and enjoyed working on cars and cooking on the grill every chance he got. Mr. Ross was loved by all that crossed his path.

In addition to his father, Mr. Ross was preceded in death by a niece, Melissa Webb and a brother-in-law, Eddie Webb, Jr.

In addition to his mother, survivors include a special friend, Sonya Williams; stepson, Azariah Williams; son, Ezekiel Williams, all of Eatonton; three brothers, Freddie Lee Ross and Andrew Ross, both of Atlanta; Michael Daniel Ross of Eatonton; sisters, Mary Ellen Lawson of Eatonton, Agnes Louise Webb and Veronica Ross, both of Shady Dale; and Belinda Ross of Covington; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A service was held Wednesday, March 21, at New Enon Baptist Church in Godfrey. Revs. Albert Baker and Frank Norwood presided.

Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Monticello, was in charge of arrangements.
