Harold Jackson Francis

Harold Jackson Francis, 81, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Francis was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. to the late Bob Francis and May Walker Francis. He lived in Ranger, GA for a number of years before moving to Monticello in 1952. He attended Bethel Baptist Church. Mr. Francis loved to garden, which he lovingly shared amongst family and friends. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His wife, Agnes Ora Pack Francis, preceded him in death seven months ago.

Brothers and sisters, Don Brooks, Marcelle Fouche, Billy Brooks, Doyle Brooks, and Bobby Brooks, also preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Terry Shi of St. Cloud, Fla., and Jackie and Gary Walker of Eatonton; grandchildren, Allen Karns, Craig Shi, Tonya Shi Figueroa, Michael Shi, and Travis Walker; great grandchildren, Aaron Karns, Aiden Karns, Kayla Shi, Rachael Shi, Justin Shi, Breanna Shi, Hunter Shi, Sharlene Figueroa, Nathan Figueroa, Michael K. Shi, Austin Shi, Carson Walker, and Dalton Walker; and sister and brother, Peggy Littles of Stockbridge, and Joe Brooks of Thompson.

A graveside service is planned Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Williams Payne Cemetery. Rev. Dewey Fisher officiated.

The family will receive friends from Monday, March 19, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
