Halcyon Yvonne Hammock Burch

Halcyon Yvonne Hammock Burch, 75, of Monticello, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle.

Mrs. Burch was born in Moultrie to the late Ralph Lee Hammock and Audrey McCullar Harrison. She lived in Tucker for 36 years before moving to Monticello in 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Aubrey Burch; son, Dennis Aubrey Burch; and brother, Maurice Hammock.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Steve and Nelda Burch of Bainbridge, Lori and Jason Priest of Woodstock, Lisa and Barry Kirby of Monticello; daughter-in-law, Susan Burch of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Bryan Burch, Lacey Botsford, Kelly Segrest, Brandon Kirby, Megan Burch, Andrea Kirby, Mark Burch, Eric Burch, and Zakk Priest; great-grandchildren, Ryles Burch, Taylor Segrest, Cailyn Segrest, and Will Thompson; and brothers and sister, Ralph Hammock, Elaine Hawkins, and Wayne Hammock, all of Milledgeville.

Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home, with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker. Revs. Jared Day and Rick Hawkins were to officiate.

The family will receive friends from Monday, March 26, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
