Martha Hardy Price

Martha Hardy Price, 94 of Monticello, died Friday, March 2, 2012.

Mrs. Price was a lifelong resident of Monticello. Her parents were the late Byron Hardy and Myra Malone Hardy Faulkner. She was a member of the Monticello Baptist Church and Pink Ladies. Before retirement, Mrs. Price worked for McIntosh State Bank.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Tuck; brother, Charles Faulkner; and sons-in-law, Daniel D. Walden and Lee O. Bruner.

Survivors include three children Elizabeth (Libba) Walden of Columbia, SC, Louise Bruner of Monticello, and Roy and wife, Sara, Price of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Daniel Walden, Columbia, SC, Jill Bruner Harden and husband Ron Harden of Gray, Wellborn Price and wife Michael Ann Price and Byron Price and wife Shannon Price of Atlanta; six great-grandchildren, Beth and Avery Harden of Gray, Regan and Ryan Price and Wellborn Price, Jr. and Cole Price of Atlanta.

A graveside service was held Monday, March 5 at West View Cemetery in Monticello.
