B-Team Cougars Finish Season
The Piedmont Academy B-team basketball squads hosted Covenant Christian Friday to complete their 2011-2012 seasons.
The B-Team Lady Cougars were led by Jordan Chandler’s six points in a 24-14 loss. Cheyenne Galloway finished with four points while Matti Smith and Anna Martin both scored two points.
Haley Tyler, Savannah McGinnis, Taylor Swart, Morgan Leach and Bridgette Phillips each saw game action.
The Piedmont B-team boys fell 40-23 to Covenant. Owen Kimball was the leading scorer with 11 points while Ethan Davidson scored six. Hank Strickland finished with four points while Cameron Hammock scored two.
Austin Taylor, Britton Bailey, Zach Wilson, Chandler Burrell, Jared Smith, Gabe Courtman and Chris Cain also received game experience.
