Mabel Lucille Creek Moss
Mabel Lucille Creek Moss, died on November 10, 2011.
She was born in Greene County, on October 4, 1919, and grew up in Madison.She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Her lifelong mission was to share the gospel, and she was a living testimony to her family and to everyone she met.
She attributed her amazing strength to her Lord. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and reading; but her greatest joy was her family. She was a member of Monticello Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Crossroads Baptist Church in Social Circle. Previously she had been a member of Rutledge Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Moss; son, James Moss; grandson, John Fish; brother, Carter Creek, and parents James (Jim) and Sally Creek.
Survivors include her children, Lawrence Moss, Lawson Moss, Dianne Moss, Joyce Moss Dunn, Geneva Moss Copeland, Joan Moss Fish, Ricky Moss, and Nathan Moss; and grandchildren David Moss, Michelle Moss Wadkins, Richard Moss, Scarlett Moss Temple, Jeff Moss, Greg Moss, Chris Moss, Ben Dunn, Sonya Dunn Story, Boyce Dunn, Richard Haymore, Terry Haymore, Todd Haymore, Jamie Wise, John David Copeland, Chris Copeland, Mary Dell Fish, Tambra Fish Mitchell, Matthew Chastain, Julie Fish Carter, Lynn Blankinship, and Gennie Lynn Moss; and 45 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
