Charles Byron Christie

Charles Byron Christie, 76, of Eatonton died at his residence.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lone Oak Baptist Church in Eatonton.

Mr. Christie was a truck driver for most of his life and a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Roma Bowie Christie; children; Charles “Chuck” Byron Christie Jr. of Walton County, Carla Herrin of Powder Springs and Ken Jackson of Monticello; grandchildren; Matthew Christie, Andrew Christie, Katie, Daniel, and Caroline Herrin, Taylor, Cristopher, Amanda, Daniel and Rachael Jackson, and great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Christie.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Charles Christie Sr. Memorial Fund c/o Bank of Monticello, Monticello, Ga. 31064.
