Burglaries Are Reported Here
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) reported that last Wednesday, November 9, a resident on Grandview Road in reported the theft of a Quarter Horse. The horse was described as being red and white. Also reported stolen were a sowing machine and cash and gift cards.
Also, during the period of November 1 through November 13 the JCSO reported the following criminal activity: JCSO at 706-468-4912, or the anonymous tips line at 706-468-tips.
In addition, during the period of November 8 through 15, the JCSO reported the following arrests:

•Derek Andrew Babb, 33, Mableton—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain lane anddriving while licence suspended or revoked.
•Stacey Linorris Brisco, 31, Eatonton—probation violation.
•On November 13 a resident on Seven Islands Road reported the theft of metal stake for a realtor sign. The get-away-vehicle was described as a red 1998 Chevrolet with tag number 2597ATN.
•On November 12 a resident on Dallas Trail reported the theft of a mobile home tongue.
•On November 10 a resident on Sandpiper Drive reported the theft of two electronic devices.
•On November 9 a resident on Killdeer Court reported the theft of a Dell computer, a tool box with tools and a freestyle bike.
• On November 7 a resident on Bear Creek Marina Road reported the theft of a 20 foot pontoon boat.
•On November 6 a resident on Inlet Lane reported the theft of a 1996 Nissan pickup truck, dark green in color and with a handicap tag.
•On November 1 a truck owner reported the theft of a vacuum pump, leak detectors, hydraulic swagger tool, tubing bender, drill set, torch set, a saw and other tools.

During the two week period of November 1 through November 15 the JCSO reported responding to 242 calls for service including 57 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 26 subject needs officer, 22 accidents, 19 alarm, nine attempts to serve warrant, eight each assist motorist and mechanical breakdown, seven theft by taking, six each domestic, escort or convoy, juvenile complaint and trouble unknown, four each livestock on road, pick up prisoner, wanted/stolen indicated and argument, three each identity fraud/theft, threatening/harassing calls and abandoned vehicle, two each dog disturbance, burglary, speeding auto, courtesy ride, intoxicated driver, chase in progress, repossession of vehicle, discharge firearms, vandalism of property checking location and road hazard, one each fight, improperly parked vehicle, mental person, bleeding person, be on the look out, trouble breathing, missing person, four wheeler, possible suicide, music/noise complaint, trespassing, forgery, 911 hang up, sick and transport of patient.
During the period of November 8 through 15 the Monticello Police Department (MPD) reported the following arrests:
• Valencia Naomi Webb, 32, Shady Dale—driving while license suspended or revoked.
• Larry Wayne Andrews, 51, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Vashon Leon Traylor, 22 Monticello—battery.
• Jamar Jacques White, 24, Milledgeville—disorderly conduct.
During the two week period of November 1 through November 15 the MPD reported responding to 200 calls for service including 93 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, 33 escort or convoy, 12 subject needs officer, six each alarm and trouble unknown, five each accident and mechanical break down, three argument, two each burglary, assist motorist, courtesy ride, threatening/harassing calls, vandalism of property, and checking location, one each fight, speeding auto, fire alarm, diabetic, fall, hypertension, miscellaneous EMS, assault, welfare check, juvenile complaint, private property, subjects soliciting, trespassing, persons refuse to leave, attempt to serve warrant and 911 hang up.
