Many Make Honor Roll This Week

CHRIS COOGLER, DR. KENNY BLAKE

Chris Coogler was one of five to get 14 right this week in what appeared to be a fairly easy football contest. He picked up a $25 prize from Dr. Kenny Blake at Venture Medical Associates.

Mr. Coogler, along with Trevor Wilson, Joseph Caldwell, Andy Martin and Edric Cardona who also all got 14 right will be added to this week’s honor roll giving players included on the list a chance to be entered into a drawing for four Chick-fil-a Bowl tickets.

However, the others’ tie breaker guesses were further off than Mr. Coogler’s 52. Fifty-four points were scored in Monticello’s loss to Lamar County.

The luck came when he correctly guessed Iowa would beat the favored Michigan which was the most widely missed among contest players this week.

Maylon Wages, Tyler Wages, Frank Dumas, III, Donna Shipp, John Braden, J. Matt Tumlin, and Thomas Pruett, all guessed 13 of the 15 games correctly this week to have their names added to the grand prize honor roll.

There are also 39 others who made honor roll this week with 12 correct answers.

If you didn’t happen to make the honor roll this week, there are still several chances left. You can find this week’s contest, sponsored by Primary Care Center in Jasper County on page 14 of today’s paper.
