Leonard Harold Gray

Leonard Harold Gray, 91, of Monticello, died October 23, 2011. Mr. Gray served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII.

Mr. Gray and his wife, Billie, lived at Turtle Cove for 20 years and he was an avid golfer at the local course, as well as many others. He also enjoyed listening to gospel music.

Survivors include a son, Len Gray of Douglasville; daughters, Gayle Gray of Monticello and Rhonda Gallups of Tucker, four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae (Billie) Pickett Gray; son, Wayne Gray; and son-in-law, Billy Gallups.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at A.S. Turner & Sons.
