Joseph Robert Howell, Jr.

Joseph Robert Howell, Jr., 42, of Louisville, Ky. died Monday, October 3, 2011 at University of Louisville Hospital.

He was a native of Breman, and a security officer for Securitas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Robert Sr. and Mary Popham Howell, and a sister, Jocelyn Howell.

Survivors include his wife, Charnita Tatlock Howell; sister, Joann Kines of Oxford; three brothers, James of St. Martin, Ga., Berry of Arlington, Texas, and Larry Howell of Jesup; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held today, Oct. 6, at noon at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 West Market Street, Louisville, Ky., followed by cremation.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon before the service.
