Piedmont Cross Country Runs in Macon

The Piedmont Academy cross country teams returned to action and competed at Central Fellowship in Macon Saturday.

“Every runner improved their time since the last meet,” said coach Traci Brady. “I was very proud of them.”

Two of Piedmont’s junior varsity runners—Mack Brady and Alina Jablonski—earned medals.

Brady was third for the junior varsity boys in 8:34 (1.5 miles) while Jablonski was fifth for the JV Lady Cougars in 10:47 (1.5 miles.)

Piedmont was scheduled to compete at Brentwood Wednesday and will run September 28 in Athens at a meet hosted by Monsignor Donovan.
