Ernest Eugene McMahon

Ernest Eugene McMahon, 76, died June 20, 2011.

Funeral services for Mr. McMahon were held Wednesday, June 22, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Marietta National Cemetery.

Mr. McMahon was a United States veteran, having served in both the Marines and the Navy. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling to Gulf Shores. He is loved, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. McMahon was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Irene Runell (Mackin) McMahon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah McMahon.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sandy McMahon of Social Circle, Kevin McMahon of Atlanta; daughters and son-in-law, Pamela and Gene Clements of Cumming, Kelly McMahon of Fayetteville, and Laurie McMillan of Monticello; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and June McMahon of Jonesboro, Rufus and Sandra McMahon of Stockbridge; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
