APPLE FRENCH TOAST
APPLE FRENCH TOAST
1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter
2 Tablespoon Corn Syrup 2 tart apples, peeled and sliced
10 eggs*** 1 1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla 1 loaf french bread, broken into pieces
Cook sugar, butter, & syrup until smooth. Pour into 9×13 baking dish. Spread apples over this mixture. Put bread pieces on top of apples. Blend together remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered 40 mins. – 350. Serve with spicy apple syrup.
Spicy Apple Syrup
1 cup applesauce 1 (10 oz) jar of apple jelly
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
dash salt
Combine all and cook over medium heat. Stir until melted. Serve with Apple French Toast.
***CAN USE EGG BEATERS
