Man Sentenced to Four Years After Probation Violation
Donald Brown McWilliams had his probation revoked after the court was presented with sufficient evidence that Mr. McWilliams had violated the terms and conditions of his probation by committing the new offenses of possession of meth, possession of marijuana and failing to pay court-ordered fines and fees. Mr. McWilliams was sentenced to four years of his probated sentence to the state penal system and upon release be returned to regular probation.
The action came during Motion Day Tuesday in Jasper Superior Court, with Judge James L. Cline, Jr., presiding.
Three other probation revocation hearings resulted in the following:

•Jamie Blackmon had his probation revoked for the new offense of criminal attempt to commit burglary and use of cocaine and marijuana at the Jasper County Jail. Mr. Blackmon was sentenced to serve the remainder of his probation in the state penal system.
•Rocky Delee had his probation revoked for unspecified charges and was sentenced to 120/180 days in a state detention center.
•Desmond Willingham had his probation revoked for the new offenses of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, bringing a weapon across the guard line at the jail and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees. Mr. Willingham was sentenced to serve the balance of his probation period in the state penal system with an end date of February 14, 2015.
Also, on the Arraignment Calendar the following individuals pled guilty to charge(s) as indicated and were sentenced as shown:
•Horace Evans to DUI Less Safe—sentenced to drug and alcohol evaluation and testing and fines and fees of $1,194.
•Maynard E. Ratzel to battery/family violence—sentenced to two months with credit for time served since April 13, 2011.
•Abigail E. Davison to battery/family violence and cruelty to children in the third degree—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and fines and fees of $594.
Approximately 35 other cases on this calendar were either continued or a not guilty plea was entered.
In addition, last Friday, April 29, Jasper County Magistrate Court convened for its Criminal Ordinance Violation Trials with Judge Kenneth G. Jackson, presiding. The following three cases resulted in the following:
•Ted Wayne Cochran pled guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 12 months probation, $210 in fines and $200 in attorney fees.
•Ieasha Lynn Daghita was found guilty of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 12 months probation, $210 in fines and 30 hours of community service.
•Randall Cullen Worsham was found guilty of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 12 months probation, $210 in fines and 30 hours of community service.
