Hoop Stars Face Jackson On the Road

Weekend Hoop Star action took place in Jackson and featured the 15-17 year-olds. In an exciting game, the Hoop Stars prevailed 57-50 over Jackson.

The Hoop Stars also faced Lamar County and in a close game, they fell short by a score of 36-33.

Saturday, April 9, the sixth grade Hoop Stars faced Morgan County, in a fairly good march-up. Again, Coach Greg Robinson and his team came back home with a win 30-20 over the Morgan County Bulldogs, making this team undefeated thus far.

The seventh grade Hurricane Hoop Stars faced the Crawford County Supersonics Saturday, in a very competitive and faced paced game.
The Supersonics had a significant size advantage over the Hoop Stars, and the final score was 37-29.

Finally, the eighth grade Hoop Stars played against Jackson and came out with a win 58-50. They also faced Jones County winning 45-41. Coach Rufus Whitlock thanks all parents, fans, and Eddie Berry for their support.
