Marcelle Hazel Harpe Hinrichsen

Marcelle Hazel Harpe Hinrichsen, 75, of Monticello, died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the Davita Dialysis-Grove Park in Jackson.

Marcelle Hinrichsen was born in Leslie, Ga. to the late Henry Alex Harpe, Jr. and Edith Graig Harpe. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Anchor, Ill. She lived there for a number of years before moving to Jasper County in 1969.

Before retirement, Mrs. Hinrichsen was a dispatcher for the Wolfe Creek Trucking Company. Her husband, Gerald Lee Hinrichsen, Sr. preceded her in death three years ago.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Debra Sue and Gene Wolfe of Fairburn, Denise Lee and Jimmy Edge of Monticello, Gerald Lee, Jr. and Dana Hinrichsen of Stockbridge, Ralph Alex Hinrichsen of Monticello, and Russell Alan Hinrichsen and Angel Thompson of Jackson; grandchildren, Gerald Lee Hinrichsen, III, Destin Cole Hinrichsen, Diamond Syerra Hinrichsen, and Morgan Alexis Hinrichsen; great-granddaughter, Syerra Lynette Bryant; and brother and sister, Thomas Henry Harpe of Vienna and Margaret Harden of Americus.

A memorial service was planned yesterday, March 30, 2011, at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home, with Dr. John Brown officiating.
