Rosa Lee Alexander Adams

Funeral services for Rosa Lee Alexander Adams, who died February 8, were held February 12 at New Bethel Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Lucious Solomon officiated; burial was in New Bethel Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Adams was born in Monticello on July 5, 1941, the daughter of George and Mary Lizzie Alexander.

Ms. Adams attended Jasper County Training School in Monticello. She was a member of New Bethel Grove Baptist Church in Monticello.

Survivors include her three children, Willie Alexander and Alphonsa Alexander, both of Covington and Joseph Alexander of Monticello; a sister, Annie Kate Alexander Little of Monticello; a brother, John Alexander of Monticello; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two very special friends, Ulysses Carter and Tammy Knight Parks, and a number of other relatives.
