Sidney Lee Dudley

Sidney Lee Dudley, 52, of Monticello died December 20, 2010.
Mr. Dudley was born to the late Mattie Dudley and Leroy Dudley on June 30, 1958. He was raised in a loving and nurturing environment where he was taught to love, respect, and be thankful at all times. He loved drawing. Mr. Dudley attended school in Jasper County and made many friends.

He joined Shiloh Baptist Church very early in life. He had many duties in the church and served on the Deacon Board for 29 years.

Survivors in addition to his father, include six brothers James Dudley of Lithonia, Eddie Dudley of Atlanta, Larry Dudley of Covington, Sherry Dudley of Shady Dale, Melvin Dudley of Covington, and Frank Crutchfield of Monroe; five sisters, Agnes Mitchell of Covington, Rose Solomon of Newborn, Betty P. Kelly, Mary Kelly, and Martha Baker, all of Covington. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, and many friends.

A service was to be held December 28, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Shady Dale. Reverend C. Bryant, pastor and Reverend Jimmy Horton, eulogist.

Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Monticello was in charge of arrangements.
