Mrs. Patricia Burke Penn

Mrs. Patricia Burke Penn, 71, of McDonough, died November 7, 2010.

Mrs. Penn was born in Atlanta, the daughter of the late James David and Wenonah McDuff Burke. She was a member of McDonough First Baptist Church. Mrs. Penn enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, cooking, decorating, traveling and reading.

Survivors include her husband, J.D. Penn of McDonough; children, Jim and Marla Penn of St. Cloud, Fla., Mary Elizabeth and Aubrey Embry of Louisville, Ky., Julia Anne and Ken Barnes of Gray, and Elaine and Bill Schilling of Monticello; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Penn are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. at McDonough First Baptist Church with Revs. Buddy Frazier, Dr. Charles Thomas and James Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park.
