John “J.P.” Martin

John “J.P.” Martin, 75, of Monticello died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. in the Snellville chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Jorgenson officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville.

Mr. Martin was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years; Barbara Martin of Monticello; son & Daughter-in-law: Rick and Gail Martin, Social Circle; grandchildren, Krystyna Martin, Mansfield and Chuck Furlow, McDonough; great-grandchildren, Charlie Furlow, Hope Furlow, and Leona Abigail Martin.

The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 19, 2010 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, Ga. 30078.
