Quincy O’Neal “Q.O.” Miller

Quincy O’Neal “Q.O.” Miller, 83, died Saturday, August 28, 2010, at UNI Health in North Augusta, S. C.

Mr. Miller was born February 3, 1927 in Augusta, to the late Ohlen Lewis Miller and Ellie M. Holley Miller.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific during World War II. After he was discharged from the military he returned to Augusta where he was employed as an electrician over the course of many years with both Carter Electric Company and Ireland Electric Company.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra M. Clegg of Clarks Hill, S.C., as well as two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Lee Simmons of Monticello; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Wanda Miller of Augusta.

Grandchildren include Heather Simmons, Ashley Simmons, Joy Miller, Jim Miller, Claude Miller and Crystal Thacker; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jordan Funeral Home of Monticello was in charge of arrangements.
