Jurors Summoned for Court
A criminal session of Jasper Superior Court will convene next week, and more than 100 prospective jurors have been summoned for possible jury duty.
Monday will be set aside for persons to enter pleas, so jurors will not be needed until Tuesday, said Dan Jordan, Clerk of Courts. Persons who have been summoned, and have not been excused, should call the clerk’s office, 706-468-4901 after 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, for reporting instructions.
Jurors are reminded to arrive in time to find parking areas, and be seated in the upstairs courtroom by the specified time, likely 9 a.m.
