Jasper Superior Court Sentences Are Listed

Jasper Superior Court criminal session convened on June 17 under the jurisdiction of Ocmulgee Judge Alison Burleson.

The following sentences were handed down:

•Cody Allen Taylor, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and the remainder of his previous probation was revoked to the Jasper County jail with credit for time served since April 2025 with that case expiring in July 2025. Along with those cases, he was ordered to serve one year in a longterm inpatient treatment program.

•Jackie L. Griggs, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of marijuana (less an ounce) and fined $500. He also had his bench warrant and bond forfeiture relieved.

•Austin D. Proctor, sentenced to six months of probation for giving false information to an officer. Fined $200.

•Sydney L. Brock, probation revoked to jail until entry into a probation detention center for 60-90 days for violating his probation terms.

•Archangg Joseph, probation revoked to 17 days in jail for failure report to probation, failure to pay court fees, and committed a new offense.

Several individuals had their cases for multiple bench warrants dead docketed and include Clarissa Minton-Morris, Victoria Sharma, Ricky Kemp, Jeremiah Cobb, Christian Cooper, Cimbrashia Kinney, and Travis Mitcham.
