Dixie Darlings Meet UGA Softball Players

The Dixie Darlings 7 & 8 year old champion team traveled to the University of Georgia in Athens last week and met some teammates from the Lady Dawgs softball team.

The Lady Dawgs had set up drills for the girls and practiced with them for some time. They had a good workout, said Coach Karla Tuggle, and the girls came back and had a great practice the next day in Monticello.

Members of the Dixie Darlings team that met the players are pictured above and include Mackenzie Tripp, Gracie Hunt, Hailey Hooper, Destiny Cook, coach Karla Tuggle, Tayloir Laurence, Kenzie Abbott, Lucy Tuggle, O’Neil Sealy, Jade Cole, Erin Carter, Madison Abbott, Coach Stephen Hooper, and Coach Grant Dutton.

Annie Corbin is also a member of the team but was not able to go to Athens witih the group.
