Ronald Claranze Persall, Sr.

Ronald Claranze Persall, Sr., 70, of Monticello, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Newton Medical Center in Covington.

Mr. Persall was born in Fulton County to the late Clarny Claranze Persall and Maude Ann Blackwell Persall. After living in Dunwoody for a number of years, Mr. Persall moved to Jasper County in 1998. He was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Charlotte, N.C. He
was a member of the Griffin Gun Club. He retired as a Southeastern District Manager for the Central Delivery System Company in Hapeville.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Nolan Persall of Monticello; children and spouses, Rhonda and John Carlasare of Memphis, TN, Kelly and Barry Russell of Cumming, and Ronald C., Jr. and Connie Persall of Monticello; grandchildren, Donnie Carlasare and Jeana Zavala; great- grandchildren, Lily Hernandez and Mia Hernandez; and brother, John Young Persall of Greensboro.

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday, July 22, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home with burial in West View Cemetery. Dr. John Brown was to officiate.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Jordan Funeral Home.
