Probation Is Revoked for Several
The following Probation Revocation hearings were resolved Tuesday in Jasper Superior Court with Judge J. Lee Parrott, presiding.
•Russell Stewart Gilbert was on probation for prior conviction on the charges of possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The court found sufficient evidence Mr. Gilbert had violated his probation by the new offense of aggravated assault. It was the order of the court that Mr. Gilbert be released and given credit for time served since October 8, 2008, and upon release be returned to regular probation supervision as previously ordered.
•Adam Lawrence Baker was on probation for prior conviction on the charges of arson in the second degree and false statements. The court found sufficient evidence Mr. Baker had violated his probation by the new offenses failing to report and failing to pay court ordered fines and fees, and is currently $1,926 in arrears. It was the order of the court that Mr. Baker be released and given credit for time served since April 28, 2009, and upon release be returned to regular probation supervision.
•Wilbur E. Hines III was on probation for prior conviction of three counts of criminal damage to property on March 22, 2005. The court found sufficient evidence Mr. Hines had violated his probation by unspecified charges. It was the order of the court that Mr. Hines be released and given credit for time served since March 26, 2009, and upon release be returned to regular probation supervision as previously ordered.
•Clint Ledwayne Jackson was on probation for prior conviction of sale of cocaine in May of 2005. The court found Mr. Jackson had violated his probation by committing the new offenses of forgery in the first degree in Putnam County and failing to pay court ordered fines and fees, currently $830 in arrears. The specifics of Mr. Jackson’s probation revocation were not available at press time.
Also, William Dale Conley signed a waiver to be extradited to Missouri to face drug charges. An outstanding warrant on Mr. Conley was discovered when he was stopped by in Jasper County by the Georgia State Patrol.
The Probation Revocation Hearings for James L. Johnson and Raymond Henry Nunn, Jr., were continued.
